The Central Carroll Recreation Council is an organization of volunteers who work with the Carroll County Department of Recreation and Parks to provide recreation opportunities and serve the communities of Finksburg, Westminster, and surrounding areas.

Check-Hers Elite is a nonprofit lacrosse club based in Carroll County. Since 2004, we have been committed to helping each player realize her potential and maximize her lacrosse experience and exposure.
Teams are selected following a competitive tryout and open to players ages 10 to 18.
Recruiting
Check-Hers Elite has a recruiting philosophy that focuses on the athlete and school fit. While the responsibility of the recruiting journey belongs to the student athlete, we are here to provide tools, guidance, and consulting to help navigate the process.
Alumni
Check-Hers Elite alumnae are past, current and future members of college lacrosse programs in NCAA Divisions I, II and III.
We are very proud of our alumnae and all they have and continue to accomplish.

Tryout Registration is open! Check-Hers Elite Lacrosse Club will hold tryouts for the high school graduation classes of 2030 through 2035-36 between June 23rd and July 2nd. Tryouts will be held at Deer Park Sports Complex, Westminster MD 21157. Discounted pricing for early registrants until 6/15/26. Register Now!
