Assistant Coach

Lauren Schwarzmann was a 3 sport athlete of Century High School competing in lacrosse, soccer and basketball.  She led her lacrosse team to a state finals appearance in their first year as a varsity program, before following up by winning the state title the following season.

After graduating from Century, Lauren played from 2005-08 at collegiate powerhouse Johns Hopkins University, where she earned four All-American First Team honors. She wrapped up her career with the Blue Jays ranking 12th all-time in program history with 118 career points (79g, 39a).

Lauren earned a spot on the U.S. National Team as a senior at JHU and competed for five years with the squad. Following her playing career, she went on to coach at Stanford and Cincinnati before taking over the helm at Mount St. Mary's in 2015.   May of 2017 Lauren was inducted into the Carroll County Sports Hall of Fame.  She has been coaching with Check-Hers Elite since 2013.
