Goalie Training

Coach Marshall White started playing lacrosse for Gamber in the mid-80’s as goalie. He continued playing goalie at McDonogh school where he earned his Varsity letter and was a starter his Senior year. He played club lacrosse at West Virginia University where he started as a freshman. Coach Marshall has continued to play lacrosse in several men’s leagues through the years and continues to play today to keep his goalie skills sharp.

Coach Marshall has coached developmental  lacrosse on teams at all levels for Westminster Area Lacrosse (WAX) serving as a goalie coach at WAX for five seasons. He has assisted as goalie coach at the club level since 2020. Coach Marshall was also a goalie coach for Westminster High School girl’s lacrosse for two seasons and helped the team to reach a State final four finish. He coached goalies for the Maryland yellow team during the national American Select tournament. Coach Marshall conducts goalie clinics and private training year round focusing on fundamentals, technique, and mental resilience.
