Kelly graduated from the University of Maryland in 2008. During her time in College Park she earned numerous honors – She was a three time All-American, three time All-ACC team member and a Tewaaraton Finalist as a senior. Following her college career, Kelly was a member of the 2008 US National Lacrosse team, coached collegiately for George Mason University, University of Richmond and Johns Hopkins University. She also coached at St. Mary’s High School and was named Anne Arundel Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2012. Kelly was a member of Century High School’s first graduating class (2004), and helped the lacrosse team to a state championship. She also played soccer and basketball for both Century and South Carroll High School and is a member of the Carroll County Sports Hall of Fame (2017 Inductee).
