She played both soccer and lacrosse at Francis Scott Key high school and graduated in 2013, earning second team honors for soccer junior and senior year and honorable mention for lacrosse junior year. She played for CMD for 2 seasons while in high school. Kara then attended Lebanon Valley College where she continued to play both sports and major in Biology for all 4 years, competing in the MAC playoffs each year as well as ECACs. Returning home in 2017, she was dual enrolled in nursing school at Carroll Community College and Stevenson University for her ADN and BSN degrees. She is currently working as a travel nurse. She began coaching at Francis Scott Key high school with the girls lacrosse team in 2020. And is super excited to have this opportunity to teach and grow the game of lacrosse with our local youth girls!
